The Brief

PhpStorm 2026.3 is released as the third major update of 2026.
The release adds a workspace for agentic development and multi-agent setups, named Air according to Laravel News.
It adds support for PHP 8.6, improvements to remote development and WSL, and PHP code insight enhancements.
Laravel News also reports new Laravel inspections and a Processes tab for queue workers.

Why it matters
